step mesa vessel in salt is slip cast and hand built from white stoneware 

each piece is slip cast, but still very much made by hand, so please allow for variation within the material and from piece to piece.  this piece is meant to be used, is food safe on the smaller side, not the larger. It is sturdy enough for casual use, but should be treated with care.  

This piece will hold water, though due to the semi porous nature of the stoneware, some sweating or condensation may occur on the bottom of the piece.
